Bio

Bernard Satariano is a Malta-based actor fluent in Maltese, English and Italian, who has 29 years experience in musicals, theatre, TV shows, Ads (Video, Radio, Social Media and Outdoor), short films and feature films. In 2024 he won the award for Best Male Acting Performance for his leading role in the short films 'Nailed It!' (Comedy) and 'Son of God' (Horror, Drama) at The Malta Cine Circle 64th National Film Competition. In April 2025 he won the award for Best Male Actor for his main role in the short film 'The Clairvoyant' (Comedy) at the April Fool's Short Film Challenge 2025 in Malta. In October 2025 he won the award for Best Actor for his lead role in the short film 'Identity' (Horror) (which he also wrote, directed, produced, filmed and edited) at the WeMakeFilms International Film Festival 2025 in London. In November 2025 he won the award of Best Actor at the Video Nasties 2025 Short Film Challenge in Malta, and in March 2026 he won the Bronze Medal for Best Leading Actor at the 15th Film Olympiad Grand Prix in Athens, for his lead role in the short film 'Outside' (Horror) (which he also co-wrote and co-produced). In April 2026 he was nominated for Best Male Actor for his lead role in the short film 'Getaway' at the April Fool's Short Film Challenge 2026 in Malta.
